CIGARETTES were stolen after thieves targeted a Co-op store in Watchfield, police have said.

Thames Valley Police said the Major Road store was burgled at about 12.55am on Saturday.

It said thieves entered the store through fire doors before stealing cigarettes from behind the counter and stock room.

Police did not say how many cigarettes were taken.

Officers said they believe there were three burglars, who were all wearing dark coloured hooded tops.
