A 16-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of being involved in the theft of £15,000 worth of clothes from a shop has been released and will not face further action.

Thames Valley Police arrested the youth the day after a burglary at Dapper Street menswear in Wantage Market Place on Wednesday, September 23, and released him on bail.

Shop staff said their CCTV footage showed two men in hooded tops using a ladder to get into a first floor window then make off with stolen stock.

The youth was due to answer bail yesterday and the force said he had been released and would face no further action.
