WANTAGE and Grove's new grassroots children's centre group is holding its first fundraiser this weekend.
GroW will hold its Christmas fair at St John's Church in Grove from 10am to 3pm on Saturday.
The group has promised 'a range of festive culinary delights, unique handmade crafts and the opportunity to win a number of fantastic prizes donated by local businesses including café vouchers, a photo shoot and gym membership'.
There will be activities for families with children up to five through the day.
GroW currently offers a weekly Bumps & Beyond group for parents and babies on a Monday from 1pm – 2.30pm at The Beacon in Wantage and has organised a social event for parents-to-be to meet others. Additional groups will be launched in 2018.
