POLICE are trying to track down a hit-and-run driver who was involved in a crash near Wantage this morning.
A dark 4x4 vehicle and a blue Mini Cooper collided on the A338 at about 6.55am, between Garford and East Hanney.
The Mini driver, a 25-year-old man, was treated for minor injuries while the car itself suffered damage to the driver's door, wing mirror and window.
Thames Valley Police said the driver of the 4x4, who was travelling north, failed to stop.
The 4x4 was described as maroon or of a similar dark colour.
Investigating officer PC Andy Wickens, from Abingdon Roads Policing Unit, said: "I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information which could assist our investigation."
He also appealed for the 4x4 driver to come forward.
Anyone with information can call 101 on quoting reference '161 (5/12)', or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
The Mini driver was treated at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service staff and did not require hospital treatment.
