Pop music legends are set to perform in honour of the Queen at a Diamond Jubilee concert marking her 60-year reign.

Singing sensation Stevie Wonder is among the all-star list of artists performing on the night, including Sir Paul McCartney, JLS, Sir Elton John and Kylie Minogue. Other acts include Will.i.am. Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J, Dame Shirley Bassey, Annie Lennox and Ed Sheeran.

Soul legend Wonder said: "It's an honour to celebrate the Queen. It's an honour to celebrate Great Britain. The time is overdue that I meet Her Majesty."

The concert follows Sunday's spectacular Diamond Jubilee pageant that attracted more than a million people to the banks of the River Thames to watch the event despite wet and cold conditions.

The Queen will be joined by many members of the Royal Family including the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry at the concert.

Another special moment will see the performance of Sing, the special Jubilee song written by Gary Barlow and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Speaking on ITV News, Barlow said: "Buckingham Palace itself is the backdrop to the event, it's the most historic backdrop in the world. All of the artists have been impressed by the stage.

"The Royal household just wants the public to have a great time. We tried to pick artists from right across her reign - from the 50s and 60s right up to the modern day

Asked if the performance would include quieter numbers, said to be preferred by the Queen, he added: "We have a whole array of music tonight, there's something for everybody."

Meanwhile, police have made just 10 arrests during the Jubilee celebrations in London, the country's most senior police officer said.

Met Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe said that despite one-and-a-half million people being out on the streets in London on Sunday to see the royal flotilla, his officers arrested just 10 people for minor public order offences like drunkenness.
