The Christmas countdown has well and truly begun!

Sew Very Vintage is beginning to look very Christmassy, with many handmade decorations now on display.

This week I will be taking my light-up Santa Stop Here signs into the shop which are made using Scrabble and snow-textured paint, as well as fun Elf on the Shelf frames which are made using cute Lego mini-figures.

As well as the festive items, I also offer a range of handmade items that are ideal for gifts for all the family - from quirky cufflinks, made using Lego bricks, beautiful rose-scented teapot candles to handcrafted pebble art frames.

Many of my handmade items are customisable, allowing that personal touch.

I have completed several custom-orders this week alone, one of which is being shipped out to Canada after the order was placed through my etsy shop (etsy.com/uk/shop/CristinasQuirkyCraft).

The beautiful rose-scented teapot candles on display in Sew Very Vintage were handcrafted by myself and are demonstrating to be very popular, with customers emphasizing the unique gifts they will make to family and friends.

These were made using collectible porcelain miniature teapots and are limited, so get ordering now to avoid disappointment.

Once the candle has burnt completely, you are left with a beautiful porcelain miniature tea-pot – the perfect trinket for jewellery or decoration.

The next craft fair I will be attending will be a local Christmas fair in Cholsey on Saturday, November 25, 10am – 1pm, where I will be offering many of my handmade craft items.

This will be at the Great Hall, Fair Mile, Cholsey.

There will be 25 stallholders, selling Christmas cards, real wreaths and decorations, handmade gifts, jewellery and skincare products. As well as the stalls, there will also be face painting, a Santa’s Grotto and a festive café.

Admission is £1 (children free) and it is expected to be a great day for all the family, so why not come along, browse the stalls and get your Christmas shopping done (or started!), visit Father Christmas and then relax with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.

I am looking forward to displaying many unique items at this Christmas craft fair and hope to see many of you there.
