Sir, I, for one, always enjoy reading Peacocke’s Pubs, not least as the articles usually include interesting and historical points of interest, putting the pubs in their local settings.
As a person who likes dogs, I also enjoy reading the brief mention about Helen’s collie Barnaby.
However, maybe I could suggest that those who don’t have the same interest, speed-read or skip to the part of the write-up describing and reviewing the meal.
