Sir, I thought you might like to have some news. We are planning a series of workshops in East Hendred to introduce beginners to the pleasures of playing the ukulele for fun with friends.
We will show you how to tune the ‘uke’, play a few chords and simple strumming.
No previous musical experience is needed as it is for beginners and those who want to improve their playing. A selection of music with simple chords and words will be provided for the first lesson.
The classes will be held in Snell’s Hall small room on Wednesday from 9am to 10.30am. You will need to have a uke for the classes, so ask Father Christmas or borrow one!
