Sir, What an excellent letter from Rod Paddock regarding John Cotton and his dislike of Morrisons supermarket.
Mr Cotton has ordered so many petty requirements from Morrisons it’s a wonder they still want to come to Wallingford.
What a pity they didn’t opt for Didcot where I’m sure they would have been welcomed.
Tesco, Sainsbury’s, B&M and now Aldi, who needs Wallingford?
What I don’t understand is how Mr Cotton became leader of the council. Surely there must be someone better who really does have “the best interests of Wallingford at heart”?
