Sir, How disappointing it is that the planned second phase of the new shopping centre in Didcot does not include the shabby rundown area in Lower Broadway.
Surely some money could be made available to tidy up this forgotten area. For instance, the rusty corrugated tin building housing the Changing Lives charity is a real eyesore.
I’m sure more suitable premises could be found for this worthy charity and this building could then be demolished and the vacant area could be reused as a much-needed car park for people living in houses without driveways in Lower Broadway. The expense would not be that great, but the advantages would be.
