Sir, I wish to make one more attempt to return a painting by the late Mrs Elizabeth M Aitken to her family, whose whereabouts I unfortunately have no knowledge of. Mrs Aitken exhibited at the Royal Academy and was looked after in her later life by my late mother, an RAF widow.
The painting is a still life painted at her home at Larchwood, Lincombe Lane, Boars Hill, and was lent to my mother until she passed away in 2002.
