Big improvement at outdoor pool
Sir, To show my support for Friends of the Abbey Meadow Outdoor Pool, I attended the opening of this season on Monday, May 25.
The difference to last year, with the change of contractor is impressive eg: the pool has been scrubbed clean with not a trace of algae, lines painted, with crystal clear water and noticeably warm to the touch.
Well done GLL contractors, the district council for maintaining this asset to Abingdon and of course the Herald for its support.
