Site earmarked
Sir – The Field Close land in Southmoor (‘Villagers upset by homes proposals’, Herald, August 26), was earmarked for further housing over 20 years ago when The Paddock was developed.
The end of Field Close was left open for future access to the site. On a positive note, the construction traffic might prevent some of the inconsiderate and sometimes dangerous car parking which currently occurs.
