London Welsh RFC are looking for a training base in Oxford as the Aviva Premiership club increase their links with the city.
Welsh moved to Oxford’s Kassam Stadium this season as their Old Deer Park ground in Richmond, London was not suitable for top-flight rugby.
And now, after an impressive start to theseason, the Exiles have every hope of avoiding relegation.
The club said: “We have embarked on the search for new training facilities in the area as well as laying the foundations for a rugby academy programme in the city.”
Exiles drew a record crowd of more than 10,000 for their 34-15 defeat by London Wasps on Saturday.
