TYRONE Marsh will be part of Oxford United’s squad for the final game of the season after being recalled from a loan spell.

The teenage striker scored nine goals in 16 games to help steer Staines Town out of relegation trouble in the Blue Square South.

He featured in their 2-0 defeat of Dover on Tuesday and was due to stay for this weekend, but United have cut the loan short.

Marsh, who scored his maiden first-team goal at United in January, will instead travel to Accrington Stanley for Saturday’s game.

He said: “I learnt a lot during my time at Staines, but I am looking forward to coming back to Oxford.”
