Wallingford let it slip in second half

Walllingford could not hold on to their lead in a 29-10 defeat at Aylesbury in Southern Counties North.
Gary Horne put Aylesbury ahead with a penalty, but Wallingford hit back when full back Ralph Smith chipped over the top and won the race to touch down the try, which fly half Olli Henderson converted.
Home wing Liam d’Almeida sprinted in for Horne to convert, while Henderson’s penalty made it 10-10 at the break.
Wing Ben Selwood fumbled Wallingford’s best chance in the second half, while Kris Blaszko was yellow-carded.
Tries from Mike Evans, Jim Dodds and Horne, who converted two, sealed Aylesbury’s win.
A disappointing Grove lost 28-17 at Buckingham in South West 1 East.
Buckingham led 25-3 at half-time thanks to tries from Will Kiddle, Ollie Payne and Calum Gillie, with Andrew White kicking two conversions and two penalties.
This was despite No 8 Joe Collins being yellow-carded. Grove full back Roger Sevier slotted a penalty.
Replacement flanker Richard Haire, who was sin-binned late on, and wing Harry Carr went over for Grove in the second half, Sevier converting both.
White replied with a penalty.
