RUGBY: Eckert try seals narrow victory for Grove

Grove came from behind to win 15-12 in their South West 1 East clash at at Devizes.
The visitors had trailed 12-3 against opponents who pass-ed up a kickable penalty and missed another sitter.
Devizes dominated possession and territory throughout the first half, while Grove hooker Jimmy Wallbridge went off with an arm injury.
The hosts finally went ahead with a converted try, but Grove replied with a penalty from full back Roger Sevier.
Committed defence repel-led Devizes before they scored a second try on 45 minutes.
Grove centre Nick Sevier shot over for a try following a scrum to give his side hope.
And they sealed victory when prop Eckert popped up on the wing and motored over for Roger Sevier to convert.
Wallingford put in a dreadful display to slump 89-7 at Bletchley in Southern Counties North.
Debutant Adam Wilkinson scored six tries for Bletchley, who ran riot.
Wilkinson (3), John Kir-wan, Matt Nobes, Paul Mellon and Tom Foster went over in the first half, with Phil Harman converting three.
Phil Harman, Wilkinson, George Harman and Steve Allen added further tries, Phil Harman converting three.
Wallingford bagged a try through Nick O’Donovan, converted by Phil Dawes.
But Bletchley wrapped it up through Wilkinson (2), Dan Read and Nobes, Phil Harman converting one.
Abingdon claimed bragging rights with a 28-13 victory in their derby at Didcot in the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Championship Tries from Alekisio Dakuwaqa, Ollie Young and James Webb, all converted by Mark Roberts, put Abingdon 21-0 ahead.
Josh Witts replied with two penalties before the break and converted a try from Ronnie Booth, but Abingdon sealed it with Simon North going over and Roberts converting.
Harwell fell 23-12 at home to Wheatley.
The hosts led 12-9 at half-time, thanks to tries from Ryan Hodnett and Dave Paton, plus a James Hoskyns-Jones conversion.
Gavin Stanton slotted three penalties for Wheatley, who clinched victory with Ollie Hobdell and Gavin Stanton scoring tries and the latter converting both.
A try from Chris Wines proved in vain as Faringdon lost 23-5 at home to Winslow.
