FOOTBALL: Keeper's injury turns it Sutton's way

Sutton Wanderers appeared to benefit from an injury to Standlake Garage keeper Johnny Mitchell in their Critchleys UTV League |Diviison 2 clash on Sunday.
Mitchell had to be carried off after picking up an chest injury, following a collision with another player.
Hosts Standlake were 2-1 up at the time after goals from Sebastian Evans and Sebastian White, but Mit-chell’s injury led to a turn of events as they ship-ped a further four goals to lose 5-2.
Steve Freeman (2), Phil Stringer Mike James and Chris Stringer were on target for Sutton.
Green Tree Wallingford went top with a 6-2 win at Checkendon Exiles, who dropped to the bottom. Martin Dawson and Chris Swales netted two goals apiece for the hosts ,while Dave Woodley and Tom Binnall replied for Check-endon White Horse Abingdon picked up their first point with a 2-2 draw at home to Woodstock Wanderers.
Carl Archer scored twice for the hosts, with Ryan Dor-an and Nathan Lawes netting for Wanderers.
Division 3 basement club Dilly United earned their first point with a 2-2 draw away to leaders JET.
Andrew Steer and John James were the heroes for the visitors, with Dan Smith and Jerome Davis netting for JET to ensure a draw.
Goals from Neil Meacham, Robert Andrew and Matthew Hudson helped Kennington Athletic to a 3-1 home victory over Abba Athletic.
Milton Midgets slipped to a 3-2 loss at home to New Club.
Goals from Peter Arbuthnott and Paddy Regan proving not enough for Milton as Dan Smith, Willy Shepherd and Dan Cordon netted.
