SHRIVENHAM ran out emphatic 97-run winners at basement boys Hook Norton in OCA Division 1, writes David Quinn.
William Snell (84) and Alex Bowles (78) got Shrivenham up to 255-5.
That was far too many for Hook Norton, who were bowled out for 158.
Division 2 leaders Rad-ley eased to a four-wicket success at home to Combe.
Huw Neyroud top-scored with 67 not out in Combe’s 201-6.
But 69 from Matt Laun-chbury and 55 by Shoaib Ahmed got Radley across the line at 202-6.
East & West Hendred fell to a two-wicket defeat at Stonesfield.
The visitors were bowled out for 120, with Sam Hibberd taking 3-11, before Ed Oakley’s unbea-ten 34 steered Stonesfield home at 123-8.
Faringdon slipped to an 18-run defeat at Bro-ughton & North New-ington.
Ansar Aslam smashed 95 as Broughton rattled up 210-7.
Despite good knocks from Ian Oglesby (79) and Nick Giles (65), Stuart Morgan’s 5-49 was key in limiting Faringdon to 192 in reply.
Arthur Beard’s unbeaten 57 guided Clifton Hampden to a seven-wicket win at Tetsworth, who were dimissed for 120.
Beard then took the visitors to 121-3.
Wantage went down by four wickets at home to Marsh Gibbon in Divis-ion 3.
Joe Leonard returned figures of 5-39 as Wantage succumbed for 151, before Charlie Shipperley made 64 as Marsh Gibbon rea-ched 152-6.
Britwell Salome were unable to stop hosts Han-borough marching on at the top of Division 4 as they went down to a hard-fought five-wicket defeat.
Martyn Oliver’s 5-20 restricted the south Ox-fordshire outfit to 152-9, before Rob Lovick (37no) led Hanborough to victory at 156-5.
Lowly West Ilsley grabbed an important four-wicket victory at home to Deddington.
The visitors compiled 160-8, thanks to Gerard Duncan’s unbeaten knock of 74.
But Will Wright then contributed 51 as the hosts posted 162-6.
Uffington were blown away by an excellent all-round show from Kil-kenny’s Duncan Mac-Donald as they went down to a 58-run defeat in Div-ision 5.
Firstly, he smashed 77 out of 204-9, and then he claimed 6-21 as Uffington subsided to 146 all out.
Dorchester crashed to a 105-run defeat at home to Stanton Harcourt.
Jason Fuller stroked 83 of Stanton Harcourt’s 215, before Andrew Walker (4-19) and Luke Pettifer (3-26) helped dismiss the hosts for 110.
Colin Thorpe (38no) was Sunningwell 2nd’s hero as they gained a thrilling one-wicket win at Risinghurst 2nd in Division 9.
After bowling out Risinghurst for 88, Thorpe stood firm as Sunningwell scraped home at 89-9.
