Former Oxford United club secretary Jim Hunt has died at the age 91.

After joining the U's in 1976 to help the supporters' club, Hunt quickly became secretary and was part of the backroom team for United's golden years in the 1980s, which saw them secure two promotions and win the League Cup final at Wembley.

After retiring as secretary in 1989, he joined the board of directors.

Also associated with Kidlington Cricket Club, Hunt moved to Scotland and died peacefully in a nursing home this week.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 11 at St Mary's Episcopal Church in Dunblane.
