Challow & Childrey kept their nerve to gain a surprise three-wicket win at home to Shipton-under-Wycwhood in the Oxfordshire quarter-final of the Davidstow Village Cup.
Chasing the Home Counties Premier League club's 173-6, Challow edged home with four balls to spare thanks to a quickfire unbeaten 27 from all-rounder Chris Jones.
Earlier, Pat Bryan had made a solid 43 for Challow, with Harry Whitehead (28) and Chris Warboys (22) providing good support to edge them closer to their target as Jason Hunt took 3-28 and Shaun Miller 2-25.
Shipton had elected to bat first, and their innings was built around an unbeaten 77 from opener Andrew Hemming.
However, no Shipton batsman was able to play a substantial innings alongside him as Challow kept things tight with spinners Joe Harris and Ryan Gordon, who both took 1-30, kept things tight.
It was only a late flourish from Charlie Brian (21no) which saw Shipton to a competitive total.
Challow are now at home to Cumnor in the county semi-finals on Sunday, May 31.
