OCA Division 1 new boys Radley defeated defending champions Cowley Internationals, condemning their hosts to a third successive defeat.

Bilal Chauhan top-scored with 61 as Radley posted 163 all out.

In reply, Cowley fell to 142 all out as Abdul Saleem took 4-37 and Atif Liaqat 3-44.

Shrivenham picked up their first win of the season, defeating visitors Stonesfield by 27 runs.

Will Snell struck 76 as Shrivenham posted 176-9, Ed Oakley taking 4-49.

Thomas Swann then claimed 3-40 as Stonesfield were dismissed for 149.

In Division 2, East & West Hendred battled out an enthralling tie with hosts Broughton & North Newington.

Batting first, Hendred were dismissed for 188 as Shahnawaz Muhammed took 5-36 and Stuart Morgan 3-45.

Stuart Walton then top-scored with 51 in Broughton’s reply, but three wickets for Andrew Francis (3-21) and Archie Napper (3-47) saw the home side dismissed for the same score and a thrilling draw.

Faringdon’s third successive victory sent them top of the division as they thumped Garsington by 113 runs.

Kevin Huxtable (61) and Jack Tomes (36no) saw the home side to 211-9, Saqib Mohammed taking 5-53.

But Garsington crumbled to 98 all out as Nick Giles took 5-36.

Wantage eased to a 101-run home victory against Clifton Hampden.

Steve Bramley top-scored with 52 in Wantage’s 160-6, before Clifton collapsed to 59 all out as Steve Pritchard took 3-4 and Ryan Martin 3-12.

Wootton & Boars Hill top Division 3 after cruising to an eight-wicket win at Tetsworth.

Tom Crowe (3-22) and Damien Wiskin (3-24) combined to dismiss the hosts for 114, and then Ben Tew hit 52 not out and Dave Pearce an unbeaten 43 to steer Wootton to 115-2.

Watlington fell to defeat at home to Wolvercote.

Jonathan Campion took 6-23 to help the visitors to a six-wicket win.

The hosts were shot out for 79, and Wolvercote eased to 80-4.

Aadam McConkey smashed an unbeaten century, but it proved all in vain as Britwell Salome were beaten by seven wickets at home to Stanton Harcourt in Division 4.

McConkey struck 119 not out as Britwell rattled up an impressive 212-3.

But 82 from Ollie Pascoe and 32 from Stuart Wastie helped Stanton to 213-7.

Thom Airs’s outstanding figures of 4-4 in 12 miserly overs proved all in vain as Dorchester crashed to a five-wicket defeat at Swinbrook.

Jack Morland claimed 5-26 to help leaders Swinbrook shoot Dorchester out for 122.

Airs bowled superbly for Dorchester – although he did drop a simple catch – but Andrew Wingfield Digby’s 50 not out and Richard Parker (33no) led Swinbrook to 123-5.

Stuart Armstrong starred with bat and ball to help Marcham to a four-wicket win at home to Kidlington.

Armstrong took 4-26 in Kidlington’s 27 all out, before his unbeaten 65 led Marcham to 128-6, despite a hat-trick from Dan Farrant in figures of 4-30.

Dan Painter top-scored with 89 as Uffington beat hosts Kilkenny by eight wickets.

Peter Jones took 5-23 in Kilkenny’s 150-9, before Painter’s knock saw Uffington to victory.

In Division 5, Steventon edged past nine-man visitors Kennington by one wicket.

Kennington posted 158-6 thanks largely to Russell Vircavs’s 50 not out.

Steventon’s middle order collapsed to Duncan Robson (5-31), but 42 not out from Mark Whitehead saw the hosts to victory.

West Ilsley beat Sunningwell by 25 runs.

Adam Barnes (39) helped the hosts to 165-9, and despite Sam Baker’s 65, Sunningwell were all out for 140.

Olly Tice hit a superb 112 as Westbury 2nd maintained their 100 per cent Division 6 record with a 109-run win at home to Faringdon 2nd.

Westbury amassed 231-5 thanks to Tice’s ton, before dismissing their visitors for 122.

Waseem Azaz (63) and Craig Woods (45) helped Kidlington 2nd post 202-8 at home to Shrivenham 2nd.

Wiley veteran Jim Blackford then claimed 4-35 to help restrict Shrivenham to 155-9.

Great Horwood 2nd thumped visitors Hanney by nine wickets after bowling them out for just 66.

DARREN Jones was the star of the show as he almost single-handedly led Radley 2nd to an eight-wicket win at East & West Hendred 2nd in Division 7.

Jones took 6-27 as the hosts were skittled out for just 77, before Jones hit 35 not out to see Radley home.

In Division 8, Uffington 2nd romped to a nine-wicket win at home to Swinbrook 2nd.

Martin Taylor took 4-18 for Uffington as Swinbrook crumbled to 38 all out.

Wootton & Boars Hill 2nd proved far too strong for Chadlington 2nd as they romped to a 266-run victory.

Rama Garimella (80), Omar Hussain (78) and Marcus Charman (67) starred in Wootton’s 314-8.

Chadlington then fell to 48 all out, Dave Parker taking 4-16 and Garimella 3-10.

Gary Butler’s 6-22 helped Marcham 2nd to a 59-run win at Hanney 2nd in Division 9.

Stephen Hill (62no) and Edward Warwick (52) helped Marcham post 158-6 in their 45 overs, before skipper Butler helped to dismiss the hosts for 99.

Sunningwell 2nd eased to an eight-wicket win at home to Chesterton 2nd.

Andrew Barrett took 4-16 in Chesterton’s 74 all out, before Nigel Lovell (49no) led Sunningwell to 75-2.

In Division 10, Hassan Khurshi smashed 141 to help Britwell Salome 2nd to a 135-run win at Kidlington 3rd.
