Faringdon wrapped up the OCA League Division 2 title with a four-wicket win at Broughton & North Newington.

Nigel Hume took 4-32 as the home side were held down to 146-9, before Ian Oglesby (44no) and Nick Giles (43) led Faringdon to 147-6 and the title.

Clifton Hampden look set to be relegated after a five-wicket defeat at Witney Swifts.

Richard Beard (66) and Morley Benson (54no) saw Clifton to 191-5.

But Andy Fisher (57) and Connor Newcombe (50) helped Swifts reach 193-5 in reply.

East & West Hendred saw off visitors Marsh Gibbon by seven wickets.

After bowling out Marsh Gibbon for 101, Hendred reached 104-3 as Archie Napper top-scored with 48.

In Division 1, Shrivenham lost by five wickets at Minster Lovell.

Only Shaz Khan (49) shone as Shrivenham were all out for 144, before Jack Simpson hit 49 to lead Minster to 145-5.

Wolvercote are one win away from the Division 3 crown after wrapping up a five-wicket win at home to Wootton & Boars Hill.

Wootton were restricted to 177-6 in their 45 overs, before Sahil Agarwal (73no) led the way for Wolvercote as they reached 180-5.

Jack Stimpson’s 5-48 proved in vain for Dorchester as they lost by 104 runs at Hailey in Division 4.

Cory Kearsey hit 55 in Hailey’s 223 all out, before Sean King (3-7) and Andy Wood (3-29) combined to dismiss the visitors for 119.

Paul Sheppard claimed 6-37 to help Uffington to a 38-run win at home to Swinbrook.

After posting 172-9, Uffington dismissed the visitors for 134.

Sunningwell wrapped up the Division 5 title after an outstanding batting performance put paid to visitors Garsington.

Sam Baker smashed 163 and James Stacey 136 as Sunningwell racked up 357-4.

Garsington fell to 170 all out and a 187-run defeat.

Four wickets apiece for Chris Bennett and Lalit Chablani proved in vain for Steventon as they lost by one wicket at home to West Witney.

Steventon posted 182-8, but West Witney crept home at 183-9.

Wootton & Boars Hill 2nd clinched the second promotion spot in Division 8, despite a shocking batting display at Combe.

Wootton were shot out for a paltry 44, Julian Chaundy taking 5-11.

But Combe lost five wickets reaching the low target, meaning that although sealing a comfortable win, they finished one point short of sealing the second promotion spot.

Division 10, champions Britwell Salome 2nd ended with a nine-wicket win over Deddington 2nd.
