DIDCOT Town gave a spirited display, but could not stop hosts Tiverton extending their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 victory on Saturday.
With Oxford United loanee Jordan Graham unavailable and George Reid absent, Didcot boss Andy Ballard had to make changes for the long Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West trip to Devon.
After Ben Whitehead dragged an early chance wide for Didcot, the hosts took the lead just before the half-hour.
Despite what looked like a foul in the build up, Levi Landricombe rounded Leigh Bedwell and slotted home.
Sam Barder and Jack Powell had efforts to level after the break, but they were hit by a sucker punch when Landricombe set up Owen Howe who netted.
Then Landricome followed home to make it 3-0.
Didcot were rewarded with a consolation when Barder played in Jack Longford who fired home.
They bid to bounce back at home to Bideford on Saturday.
