SAXTON Rovers returned to the top of the North Berks League Division 1 table with an impressive 3-0 victory over Kintbury Rangers, writes RICHARD UNDERWOOD.

Two second-half goals from leading scorer Tom Stanley and a third from Daniel Parry proved the difference as Rovers extended their winning run to eight games.

Steventon lost ground in the Division 2 title race as they went down to a shock 2-1 defeat at Westminster.

Engeli Zeneli scored for Steventon, but a Harry Ackland double secured victory for the hosts.

Harwell Village edged out Hanney United in a seven-goal thriller, as goals from Paul Powell, Wayne Robins, Gareth Bertram and Jonathan Eudell handed them a 4-3 success.

James Bishop netted twice and Chris Hunt also scored for Hanney, but it was not enough.

Matt Payne grabbed the only goal of the game as Sutton Courtenay defeated visitors Dorchester 1-0.

Watlington Town came back from a goal down to win 3-1 at home to Benson Lions and leapfrog their guests at the top of Division 3.

Luke Vincent had put the visitors in front, but goals from William Wright, Adam Holloway and Dom Selwood ensured victory for Watlington.

Camden Laver scored a spectacular bicycle kick to give Wallingford Town Res a 1-0 home win over Marcham.

Division 4 leaders Blewbury were left stunned as they went down 5-1 at home to Coleshill United.

Arran Gray scored for the hosts, but they were well beaten thanks to a James Tranter double and efforts from Jordan Mundy, Adam Clarke and Dan Kingsley.

Callum Bowler and Will Houseman got themselves on the scoresheet as Long Wittenham Athletic Res beat visitors Stanford in the Vale Res 2-0.
