ABINGDON’S Tiegan Trafford won the top award at the Oxfordshire’s full apparatus competition.

The promising

ten-year-old was awarded the trophy for the highest overall score on the day, having won gold in the level 3 category, just ahead of clubmate Olivia Kenny, who landed silver.

In level 2 pathway, Kitty Hitchens won gold, with Scarlett Cairns also taking gold in the Espoir challenge category.

At level 4, Corinna Gooderham claimed overall gold, while Grace Waller was first in the pathway

competition.

Elsa Lancashire and Maizie Neal took silver and bronze respectively in the junior event.

In level 5, Mekayla Heard claimed the gold medal, with clubmate Naia Dixon-Neville taking bronze.

The level 6 category for the youngest swimmers, saw Amber Wharton triumph, while fellow seven-year-old Kiera Scammell claimed bronze.

Isabelle Larman was awarded the Dave Lock Trophy after she returned to competition following a year out, recovering from a spinal infection.
