OXFORD City prepare for another tough pre-season test when they host a Luton Town XI tonight.

The Vanarama National League South club were beaten 5-1 by Oxford United in a friendly at Court Place Farm on Saturday.

And this evening’s fixture will be another chance for boss Mark Jones’s side to gel ahead of the new season.

Elsewhere, Evo-Stik South League side Thame United beat Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Brackley Town Saints 3-0.

Aston Goss, Keanu Williams and Dan Collins were on the scoresheet.

Thame are in action this evening when they make the short trip to another Premier Division side in the form of Oxfordshire counterparts Wantage Town.

Hellenic League Division 1 club Abingdon Town beat Premier outfit Ardley United 7-1 at Oxford City’s Court Place Farm.

Division 2 side Letcombe won a nine-goal thriller at home to Berinsfield from the North Berks League.

The visitors led 3-0 at the break.

But goals from Brad Paglioroli (2) and Jamie Soulter made it 3-3.

Berinsfield retook the lead, only for Kye Franklin to equalise and Andy Goodchild to head home what proved to be the winner.
