OLIVER and Will Fletcher enjoyed a successful European Championships with both riders returning home to Faringdon with medals.
Oliver Fletcher, 15, came home with silvers in the junior team and individual competitions in Fontainebleau, France.
And Will Fletcher, 19, was part of the young rider squad which clinched gold.
Younger sibling Oliver was in action first, helping Great Britain – under the name Team NAF Juniors – clinch a podium position.
He produced a clear first round on ten-year-old grey gelding Hello Disckoboy D.N., but picked up four penalty points in the second.
However, Fletcher scored a faultless third round to help Britain finish second.
The top 30 riders went though to the individual final, where he went on to win his second silver.
Having accrued just 6.20 penalty points, Fletcher went on to produce two clear rounds – the only rider to do so – to finish second.
Brother Will also brought home a medal , helping Britain clinch team gold in the young rider category.
Fletcher, with Persimmon, a 12 year-old British-bred brown gelding, produced great performances across the three rounds.
He also qualified for the individual final, finishing sixth.
