Wallingford's pack dominated, with Pat McKenna impressing, as they earned a 25-12 victory at Salisbury.
The visitors’ patience was rewarded with two penalties from full back Ralph Smith, the latter coming after Salisbury’s Michael Daniels was sin-binned.
With a man advantage, Wallingford piled on the pressure and prop Kris Blaszko blasted through for their opening try, converted by Smith.
After the break, fly half Henry Venners and centre Pete Holton set up prop Darren Small, who sped in from the edge of the 22.
Salisbury battled back and Wallingford flanker Mike Chapman was yellow-carded as the visitors lost discipline.
Hamish Morton bundled his way over for Salisbury, with Tom Pottage converting.
Wallingford sealed it when scrum half Derek Viljoen showed great dexterity to hold wing Richard Turner’s chip ahead and touch down, Smith converting.
Salisbury managed a late second try through wing Nigel Thomas.
