Exiles take another beating

Oxford-based London Welsh suffered a second heavy defeat in the Aviva Premiership when they lost 40-3 away to Harlequins at The Stoop.

Harlequins, who led 21-3 at the break, scored six tries through Ugo Monye (2), George Robson (2), George Lowe and New Zealander Ben Botica, with Nick Evans landing five conversions.

Exiles, who lost 38-13 to Leicester in their opening game at the Kassam Stadium on Sunday, managed just a penalty from fly half Gordon Ross in reply.
