DIDCOT walloped Witney Mills by seven wickets to clinch the title by two points.

Matt Jones (3-28) and Dan Alderson (3-32) did much of the damage as Mills fell to 111 all out. Micheal Dove top scored with 33.

Ian Demain then hit an unbeaten 34 and so launched the home side’s celebrations on 114-3.

Great & Little Tew 2nd had to settle for the runners-up spot despite a phenomenal run that has seen them win all of their last ten matches to finish.

Lawrence Brock (5-45) and Kevin Taylor (3-41) combined to dismiss Wallingford for 178, of which veteran Rob Sessions contributed 63.

Markus Jeacock followed up last week’s 166 not out with an unbeaten 84 in Tew’s 180-4.

Buckingham Town 2nd will also be promoted if the winners of the OCA are elected to join the league for next season. They finished third after Dominic Pritchard took 5-13 as Stokenchurch made 100 all out.

Town scored 101-7 against Aidan Watson (5-35).

Horley will remain in Division 4 next term despite crushing Chearsley.

Dave Eaton took 5-50 and George Collard collected 3-12 in the visitors’ 108 all out, of which James Veness hit 55. Dave Clark’s 71 not out saw Horley to 112-1 in only 15.5 overs.

East Oxford made it 594 runs against Kingston Bagpuize this term by hitting 323-7.

Ajay Patel (111) and Mursalean Sadiqi (84) made Matthew Warner (3-90) and Ben Fisher (3-96) work hard as the visitors were denied by rain, which ended the hosts’ innings on 62-4.
