Mark Crone's classy 118 and Roger Podbery's patient 50 enabled Challow & Childrey 2nd to declare one over early on 261-7 at home to Brackley in Division 4.

Henry Newby took 4-75 for the visitors, but Duncan Wooloff (6-30) bowled even better as Brackley were all out in just 21.2 overs for 109. Darren Beckett top scored with 50.

Off spinner Roger Berryman took 4-27 as Oxford Downs 2nd had little trouble overcoming Princes Risborough by eight wickets.

Paul Strong (60) was the only batsman to prosper as Risborough fell for 135.

Frankie Crouch (42) then led Downs' reply, which consumed just 33 overs.

Bicester & North Oxford 2nd's top order found the Bledlow Village attack a handful before Lee Mason (51) saw them from 57-5 to a rather healthier 167-7.

Matt Bolton and Adam Mould then matched Mason's score, and Mould was at the crease with Harry Moseley (40no) when a nine wicket win was secured.

Bottom club Didcot finally showed some form, but still ended up losing at Buckingham Town 2nd.

Andy Broughton (59) and Simon Pritchard (46) took the visitors to a competitive 176-8, in which Lawrence d'Silva took 4-42.

Matt Jones then took 5-57, but his efforts were in vain as Town scrambled their way to 178-8.

Buckingham Town 2nd 30, Didcot 15 Stefan Read took a hattrick, with all three victims bowled, as Stokenchurch reduced Wolverton Town from 174-2 to 220 all out.

Read bowled throughout to finish with 5-93, while Arshad Latif took 4-37. Michael Baker hit 82 and Babar Raja struck seven sixes in a quickfire 62.

Peter Langford's 43 was the only bright spot in the home side's 134 all out.
