An opening stand of 209 between Nick Meadows (119) and Roger Podbery (69) set Challow & Childrey 2nd on their way to 253-7 at home to title-chasing Bledlow Village in Division 4.

Bledlow gave themselves every chance in reply, with Charles Downs making 72 and James Bacon 62, but were eventually all out for 241.

Bledlow's defeat left the door open to Wolverton Town, who seized the chance to claim the title by overcoming Princes Risborough.

Didcot seem sure to be relegated as they lost by 24 runs at bottom club Brackley.

With two sides set to go down, Didcot knew they had to win at the Northants club, but allowed David Hedger (58) and James Timmis (45) to take them to 207-6.

Andy Broughton's 56 gave Didcot hope, but Matt Corns took 4-40 and they were bowled out for 183.

Stokenchurch seamer Stefan Read took all ten wickets the last time his side played Bicester & North Oxford 2nd, but this time he had to settle for 7-62.

Only Stafford Sansome (52) got going for Bicester, who fell from 120-2 to 145 all out.

Arshad Latif then smashed 125 not out from 84 balls at Stokenchurch raced to a ten-wicket win in the 27th over.

Tim Hook (4-61) helped Oxford Downs 2nd dismissBuckingham 2nd for 191, but with Richard Pengelly claiming 5-26, Downs were forced to cling on for a draw on 127-9.
