Only 167 runs were scored for the loss of 18 wickets before Banbury Twenty 2nd squeaked home by two wickets against Kimble in Division 4.

Mike Wedderburn (4-16) and Ali Shah (4-36) had combined to dismiss Kimble for just 82.

Sam Agace then took 4-30 to have Twenty in trouble before they scrambled the winning runs.

Buckingham Town 2nd and Stokenchurch were involved in a thrilling contest that finished in a draw with the scores level.

Mike Taylor hit 98 and Matt Thatcher 56 in Town's 248-5, with 36 runs coming from the final two overs.

Paul Maddock then hit an unbeaten 101 for the visitors, who finished on 248-7. Their failure to provide an umpire cost them five points.

Earlier Risborough, who had elected to bat, were bowled out for 152, Samuel Jones taking 4-48.

Ryan Gordon, 15, hit 59 for Challow & Childrey 2nd at Chearsley, but his side's 177 all out proved insufficient.

Tanveer Nadeem's 82 not out for Twyford took them to 228-9, which proved too many for Oxford Downs 2nd.

Jack Deal (45) had also batted well after Downs won the toss and elected to field.
