An impressive opening burst of 3-18 in nine overs from Sam Florey set Oxford Downs 2nd on the way to victory over title-chasing Banbury Twenty 2nd in Division 4.

Twenty recovered from 15-2 after ten overs to 175 all out thanks to Assif Hussain (41) and Mike Wedderburn (43).

Wedderburn then took 4-75 to keep his side in it, but a classy 66 by Luke List as rain started to fall helped Downs reach 179-6.

Veteran batsman Roger Podbery hit 110 to set up a four-wicket win for Challow & Childrey 2nd at Princes Risborough.

Risborough had posted 229-8 thanks to Paul Strong (58), Dave Brooker (45) and Nick Thomas (40). Rob Harries took 5-58.

Challow then reached 231-6 thanks to Podbery and Nigel Hume (48).

The visitors' slow over rate cost them one point.

Daniel Bishop hit 45 and Russell Hayes 44 in Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd's 181 all out, but Buckingham Town 2nd eased to a six-wicket win.

Town's Stephen Lewis took 5-51 before Matthew Thatcher (70no) and Mike Taylor (38) led them to 183-4.

Arshad Latif took 6-42 then top-scored with 30 as Stokenchurch inflicted a rare defeat on league newcomers and divisional leaders Twyford.

Only Henry Colver (55) and Tanveer Nadeem (43) could get going for the home side, who were bowled out for 155.

Stokenchurch then made 157-5 despite Sam Lyon's 3-32.

Chearsley wasted no time seeing off Kimble by seven wickets.

Ken Baker took 4-37 and Nick Babington 3-31 as the visitors were all out for 109.

Russell Haynes hit 32 and Nick Grimsdell 30 not out as Chearsley raced to 110-3 from 19 overs.
