Banbury Twenty 2nd dropped out of the Division 4 promotion race after letting Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd off the hook.

Shipton looked out of the game on 74-6, but Charlie Brain (79) was then joined by Simon Dickens (52) and they recovered to 201-8.

Dickens then took 6-28 as Twenty stumbled to 134 all out, despite a defiant 41 from Brian Griffiths.

Challow & Childrey 2nd are down after suffering a predictably heavy loss at title contenders Twyford.

Jack Deal (78), Sam Lyon (73) and Adam Bone (52) all scored quickly to set up Twyford's declaration after 48 overs with the score on 239-5.

Sam Roberts then took 4-25 as Challow were bowled out for 116.

Twyford will fight out the title with Buckingham Town 2nd after Town overcame Chearsley by five wickets to condemn their hosts to relegation.

Only Marc Hignell (31) could come to terms with the Town attack as Chearsley were dismissed for a paltry 109.

Stephen Lewis followed up his 3-13 by hitting 45 in Town's 113-5.

At the weekend, Twyford are away to Stokenchurch while Buckingham are home to Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd.

Joe Brown's 69 was the highlight of Stokenchurch's 186-8 at Oxford Downs 2nd.

But his efforts were in vain as Luke List hit 40 and Chris Hunt 30 not out in Downs' 187-7.

Paul Strong hit an unbeaten 119 to bring up his 50th career century and allow Princes Risborough to declare on 236-3 after 51 overs at home to Kimble.

He added 171 for the first wicket with Dave Brooker (65).

Ali Russell (91no) led the visitors' reply, but despite batting for 52 overs they were never really in the hunt and closed on 200-7.
