Challow & Childrey 2nd entered the final over needing five to win with six wickets in hand at Bledlow Ridge 2nd in Division 5.

A few minutes later they had scored three more runs and lost four wickets, so had to settle for a draw.

Ridge had scored 229-7 thanks to Richard Dryden (76) and David Wood (45), while Rudi du Plessis took 4-49.

Philip Atkinson (65), James Edwards (56) and Ryan Gordon (41) then seemed to have set up a Challow win, before chaos ensued and they finished on 228-8.

Rob Sessions hit 97 and Darren Grist 74 as Wallingford racked up 235-5 dec at home to Abingdon Vale 2nd.

Trevor Spindler then took 4-38 to have Vale in trouble, but Tom Allen (44) and Henry Pickford (33) helped their side reach 176-9.

Bicester & North Oxford 2nd benefitted from some shoddy fielding by Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd in reaching 222-8.

George Frankland took 3-52 and then Edward Petit-Mills (54) got Nondies off to a good start, but poor shot selection and Michael Simpson's 4-32 meant they were all out for 155.

Andy Proctor took 5-51, but could not prise out the last two wickets so his Banbury 3rd side had to settle for a draw at Great & Little Tew 2nd.

Banbury had managed 208-5 from their 53 overs, with Jamie Coles 60 not out and Jonti Cooke 54.

Matthew Taylor hit 49 to give Tew a great chance, but they were hanging on with the score on 191-8 by the close.
