Suzanne Beardsmore and Noel Blatchford won gold when they competed in the British Masters Athletic Federation’s 20K Road Walk Championships at Hillingdon on Saturday.
The two Abingdon AC members were neck-and-neck for most of the race.
But Beardsmore’s ultra-distance skills showed as she pulled away to beat Blatchford easily. However, both won their age categories.
