THOMAS Coney led the way as Abingdon AC claimed the men’s team prize in the Woodstock 12, raced on on the hilly four-mile loop around Blenheim Palace.
Coney finished sixth, while James Clayton (eighth) and Peter Akrill (20th) completed the victorious line-up.
White Horse Harriers’ Paul Jegou came ninth.
John Harvey was Abingdon’s first runner home in 16th place at the Longworth 10k.
In the Southern Road Relays at Crystal Palace, Abingdon under 15 boys finished 36th overall, the under girls 45th, the senior men’s team 63rd, while the senior ladies were disqualified after one of the team took the wrong course.
