NATASHA Mighty, of Radley, starred with two gold medals in the British Masters Indoor Championships at Lee Valley.

Competing in the women's 35 age group, Mighty won the 60 metres sprint in 8.89secs and the 60 metres hurdles in 10.71.

Mighty looked to have won a third gold with her throw of 11.06 metres in the shot, but she was disqualified for incorrect reporting procedures.

Two more medals came her way, with a silver in the weight where her distance of 11.21 was beaten by the final throw, and she came third in the hammer (26.60), despite all her throws hitting the cage!

Clubmate Alistair Duncan claimed two silver in the men's 50 age group.

He ran 25.24 to come second in the 200 metres, and was runner-up in the 400 metres (56.75).

He also produced a personal best of 7.91 when coming sixth in the 60 metres.

Kay Reynolds, who coaches both athletes, was very pleased with their performances and believes this bodes well for the forthcoming track season.

Duncan Talbot, of Abing-don Amblers, retained his men's 55 high jump title, when equalling his own Southern Counties record of 1.55m.

He also won a silver medal in the 60m hurdles in a pb of 11.15, lowering my own club and county record.
