SHRIVENHAM condemned Chadlington to relegation with an eight-wicket victory in Division 1 of the OCA League.

Chris Stone claimed 4-35 to help dismiss the hosts for 107, and then Will Snell top-scored with 52 not out to steer Shrivenham to 109-2.

Faringdon all but secured the Division 2 title after a five-wicket win over visitors Wantage.

Nick Giles was the star of the show, taking 4-29 in Wantage’s 138 all out, before hitting 46 to see Faringdon to 140-5.

Britwell Salome collected a rare victory, but are still relegated from Division 4, despite thrashing visitors Marcham by 192 runs.

Adam McConkey hammered 125 not out and Stuart Symes 109 to lead Britwell to 262-2.

Neil Lawrence then claimed 5-18 as Marcham were rolled over for 70.

Thom Airs claimed five wickets to help Dorchester to a six-wicket win over visitors Deddington, who also appear destined for the drop.

Ben Lewis’s 48 was the only contribution in Deddington’s 156 all out, Airs taking 5-37.

Richard Sharman then hit 95 as Dorchester reached 157-4.

Another century from James Stacey put Sunningwell on the brink of the Division 5 title as they beat visitors Risinghurst by 115 runs.

Stacey slammed 130 not out and Robert Hussey 82 as Sunningwell racked up 315-3.

Rakesh Nambiar replied with 100 not out for Risinghurst, but they fell to 200 all out as Stacey took 3-11.

Faringdon 2nd beat local rivals Shrivenham 2nd by seven wickets in Division 6. Alan Johnson’s 4-20 helped to dismiss the hosts for 97, and then Simon Cornish hit 39 in Faringdon’s 100-3.

In Division 7, Radley 2nd closed the gap on leaders Tetsworth 2nd after beating Hanborough 2nd by seven wickets.

Abdur Rasheed Khan took 5-17 in Hanborough’s 140-9, before Kester Matthews hit 64 not out to steer Radley home at 141-3.

Division 8 leaders Wootton & Boars Hill thumped visitors Ducklington by eight wickets.

Dave Parker took 4-14 in Ducklington’s 64 all out, before Ethan Webb (32no) saw Wootton home at 66-2.

In Division 9, Deepak Patel returned figures of 7-17 to help Marcham 2nd to a 63-run win at home to Chesterton 2nd.

Marcham had been bowled out for 104, but Patel’s magnificent seven saw Chesterton tumbled out for 41.

Britwell Salome 2nd moved a step closer to the Division 10 crown with an eight-wicket win at Charlbury 3rd. After bowling Charlbury out for 103, Hassan Khurshi hit 51 not out as Britwell reached 104-2.
