THERE were double celebrations for Didcot at the Cherwell League’s presentation night, writes MICHAEL KNOX.

Didcot captured the Division 3 and Division 9 South titles.

And their respective captains, Jordan Morrison and Tim Read, received the cups from guest speaker Peter Baxter (former producer of Test Match Special) at the Belfry Hotel, Milton Common, near Thame.

There was recognition, too, for Blewbury & Wallingford’s Scott Harris, who won the league’s 1st XI bowling award with with 55 wickets.
