ABDUR Rasheed Khan starred with bat and ball to help Radley to a 12-run win at Stonesfield in Division 1 on Saturday.

Radley were all out for 173 as Ali Malik hit 83 and Khan 43, Ciaran Northwood taking 6-58 for the hosts.

Khan then claimed 5-45 in Stonesfield’s reply as they fell for 161, Sean Holley hitting 67.

Faringdon fell to a five-wicket defeat at home to Oxenford.

Rob Owen followed up his opening-day century with 57, but Faringdon were bowled out for 167.

Roshan Gedara (49no) and David Shackleton (39) then led Oxenford to 169-5.

East & West Hendred defeated hosts Yarnton & Cowley by three wickets.

Yarnton set 184-7 as Zubair Shafique top-scored with 64.

Charlie Mulford (43no) was the rock in Hendred’s reply as they reached 186-7.

In Division 2, Broughton & North Newington saw off hosts Clifton Hampden by seven wickets.

Stuart Walton played a starring role with bat and ball.

He took 5-18 in Clifton’s 166 all out, Morley Benson hitting 60.

Walton then top-scored with 58 to steer Broughton to 170-3, James Walton finishing 57 not out.

A fine 71 from Damien Wiskin and 68 from Billy Webb saw Wootton & Boars Hill to a five-wicket win at Wantage.

David Spencer hit 58 and Nick Burton 51 in Wantage’s 210-6, but Wiskin and Webb led Wootton’s reply as they eased to 212-5.

Uffington edged out Marcham by one wicket in a thrilling Division 4 clash.

Adam Shorten took 4-31 and Tom Fillery 4-73 to dismiss visitors Marcham for 221, Tom Mooring hitting 60.

Fillery then smashed an incredible 103, reaching his century in the 12th over in a knock that contained ten sixes and eight fours.

It helped Uffington over the line at 225-9, despite 5-54 from Stuart Armstrong.

Half centuries from Connor Graney and Richard Sharman helped Dorchester to a six-wicket win at home to Sunningwell.

Sunningwell set 202-5, Andy Smith top-scoring with 54 not out.

But 67 from Graney and 59 from Sharman saw Dorchester to a comfortable victory at 206-4.

Steventon beat hosts Kennington by six wickets in Division 5.

Dismissing Kennington for 157, Steventon reached 159-6, Satish Patange top-scoring with 36 and Stephen Thompson hitting 35.

Wolvercote 2nd beat visitors Radley 2nd by six wickets.

Radley were all out for 118, despite 64 for Rezwan Rana.

Ali Dent (56no) and Steve Wilson (44) then led Wolvercote to 122-4.

Charlbury 2nd beat hosts East & West Hendred 2nd by 13 runs in a thrilling Division 6 match.

Neil Fox’s 54 helped Charlbury to 206 all out, Pete Beckley taking 4-65.

In reply, Hendred were always in the hunt, thanks largely to Ian Clewley’s 72.

But they were bowled out for 193 as Garry Masters, Max Lucas and Paul Jenkins took three wickets apiece.

Shrivenham were too strong for visitors Oxenford 2nd as they ran out 72 run winners.

Batting first, Shrivenham posted 196-8, Alex Bowles top-scoring with 64.

Scott Winskill then claimed 3-17 as Oxenford were bowled out for 124.

Danny Taylor’s 5-33 helped Letcombe to their first victory as they beat visitors Chalgrove by 62 runs in Division 8 South.

Steve Lewis top-scored with 62 in Letcombe’s 166 all out, Richard Murphy taking 6-22.

Taylor’s haul then helped to dismiss Chalgrove for 104.

Altaf Ali’s 6-18 was in vain for Kennington 2nd as they lost by ten runs at Steventon 2nd, while Dorchester 2nd beat hosts Sunningwell 2nd by four wickets.
