All-rounder Matt Jones starred as Didcot beat Sandford St Martin 2nd by five wickets in The Oxford Times Cherwell League Division 6.
Julian Hitchman took 5-48 and Jones grabbed 4-49 as Sandford were dismissed for 160.
Jones then top-scored with 71 as Didcot reached their target with five overs to spare, with valuable contributions from Henry Latimer (25) and Simon Pritchard (30no).
l Didcot 25 pts, Sandford 2nd 8.
Didcot 2nd took 16 points from a draw they dominated at Abingdon Vale 3rd in Division 8.
Viraj and Vishane Perera scored 81 and 42 respectively to set up Didcot’s total of 219-5 Dave Allen’s 5-77, following his unbeaten 32, almost gave Didcot victory, but Vale clung on at 188-9.
Only Paul Lemon gave significant resistance with 71 l Didcot 2nd 16, Abingdon Vale 3rd 8.
For the second week running Didcot 3rd posted a total of more than 200 in Division 9, but could not secure the win.
Didcot’s 206-5 included stand-out performances from Haydn Durrant (49) no), Paul Costello (49) and Satosh Bhat (31).
Oxford and Bletchingdon 4th settled for a draw, reaching only 141-5.

Didcot 4th reached 147 in 38 overs against Tiddington 3rd in Division 10, with Uday Pande hitting 34.
Tiddington cruised home by eight wickets.
