Shrivenham will meet Westbury in the final of the Airey Cup after they crushed Great Horwood by 143 runs in Sunday’s semi-final, writes Kieren Bushnell.

Batting first, Shrivenham rattled up a formidable 253-5 with Conor Taylor hitting 61 and Mark Whale and Adam Tucker 51 apiece.

Horwood never looked like chasing down the target as they fell to 110 all out, Taylor taking 4-20.

Meanwhile in the league, Shrivenham kept up the pressure on Division 1 leaders Westbury when beating Horley by 28 runs.

Having posted 189-9, Shrivenham dismissed Hor-ley for 161, Taylor and Will Snell taking three wickets apiece.

Marcham cruised to a six-wicket win over Garsington.

Jim McGeown claimed 4-36 as Garsington were bowled out for 181, before Dave Prosper (49), Ryan Mills (45) and Nick Giles (42) saw Marcham to victory.

In Division 2, Letcombe’s Pat Bryan scored 130 not out to help his side to a 31-run win at Watlington.

Letcombe scored 228-2, then restricted the hosts to 197-9, Adam Shorten taking 4-52.

Faringdon beat Witney Swifts by 57 runs.

Having posted 172-9, Faringdon dismissed their visitors for 115 as Andy McDowall took 4-37.

East & West Hendred stayed clear top of Division 3 after they edged to a two-wicket victory against Westcott.

Chasing Westcott’s total of 190-8, in which Pete Smith scored 74, Hendred sneaked home at 191-8, Mark Baring top-scoring with 40.

Radley’s bowlers were on the receiving end as Chad-lington’s Danny Harding cracked his biggest century of the season in their 175-run victory in Division 4.

Harding’s 167 was his sixth ton of the summer and took Chadlington to a massive 375-2.

Mark Lambert added 107 not out and Richard Ingram 51 not out.

Radley made no effort at chasing such a mammoth total, instead settling for obtaining maximum batting points, which they did with ease, reaching 200-7.

In Division 6, Steve Mc-Comb (93no) and Adrian Redhead (77) helped Dor-chester to a crushing eight-wicket win against Tetsworth 2nd.

Lawrence Belcher took 4-50 as Tetsworth fell for 196, before McComb and Redhead led Dorchester to victory.

Sam Greenhalf captured superb figures of 7-33 as Britwell Salome thumped Hanney 2nd by ten wickets in Division 11, after bowling them out for 74.
