Max Crocombe has joined Nuneaton Town on loan.
The Oxford United goalkeeper has played just twice this season, in the Capital One Cup matches at Bristol City and West Bromwich Albion.
He has spent the remainder of the season as understudy to George Long, and latterly Ryan Clarke.
United brought in Jamie Ashdown earlier this month in order to allow 21-year-old Crocombe to get much-needed experience under his belt.
And a move to the Conference side for the rest of the season, is hoped to provide valuable game-time.
Crocombe is set to make his debut in Nuneaton's home clash against Kidderminster tomorrow, which is live on BT Sport.
