DIDCOT Town have appointed former Bicester Town manager Chris Hurley as reserve team manager.

Hurley, who has also previously managed Witney Town and Clanfield 85, led Bicester to promotion to the Hellenic League Premier Division in 2011 before club was forced to withdraw from competitive football.

He will take charge of a Didcot side which finished 11th last season in Division 1 East.

Assisting him will be Adam Bradley and former Didcot player Jeff Simmonds, both of whom previously worked with Hurley at Witney.

Meanwhile, Ieuan Morgan will take charge of Town’s Under 18 side, having filled similar roles at Arsenal Soccer Schools and Carterton Youth.

Open trials for the side will be held next month, from July 5-7 and from 12-14.
