CONOR McDonagh’s extra-time strike sent ten-man Banbury United through in their Buildbase FA Trophy replay with Tiverton Town.
The striker’s 101st-minute effort secured a 3-2 victory for the hosts, setting up a second qualifying round trip to Farnborough on November 11.
Banbury led through Charlie Hawtin on ten minutes, but their chances of a smooth passage took a blow when Ravi Shamsi was sent off just before half-time.
Levi Landricombe’s second-half double appeared to be sending the visitors through.
But Hawtin, who had not scored for the Puritans before last night, scored again on 83 minutes to force extra-time.
Kidlington came from 3-1 down at half-time to draw at 3-3 Barnstaple Town, extending their unbeaten Evo-Stik South League West Division run to seven games.
After Anaclet Odhiambo had a penalty saved, Barnstaple raced into a 2-0 lead through Jed Harper-Penman and Jordan Charran.
Darius Browne pulled one back for the visitors, only for Charran’s second goal of the night restored Town’s grip on the game.
But Odhiambo made amends for his earlier error to pull a goal back and Lewis Coyle struck on 64 minutes to secure a point.
Didcot Town hosted an extraordinary game at Loop Meadow, where they beat Flackwell Heath 6-5 in the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup.
Seth Humphries’ goal proved decisive in the second round tie.
Louis Joyce (2), David Murphy, George Jeacock and Marlon Agyakwa also netted for the Railwaymen.
