ORIGINAL Swan kept up their challenge for the Oxford City FA title with two high-scoring victories.

First, they beat Milton 5-3 in midweek thanks to a superb first-half hat-trick from the league’s top-scorer Sean Hurcombe.

Swan’s other goals came from Ben Curtis and Ryan Smith.

Hurcombe maintained his superb form with a five-timer as Swan routed depleted visitors Headington Butchers 11-1 on Saturday.

Further strikes from Curtis, Jack Munt , Rio Maldini Cadle, Carlos Abreu , Aston Shaw and Jake Chambers wrapped up the points.

l VALE of White Horse Schools teams starred in the ESFA Festival at Millfield School, in Somerset.

Their under 13 squad winning all five games, with James Fleury taking the award for the best player.

Vale’s under 14 team, won three matches, drew one and lost one, with Carrick Dunbar named as the best player in the festival.

They lost only to Taunton, but held a 2-0 lead before falling to a 4-2 defeat.

And it needed a late equaliser for Plymouth to get a 2-2 draw.
