Oxford United kick off at home to York

OXFORD United will kick off next season at home to York City.

That curtain-raiser is at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday August 8.

Chris Wilder's team then head east, for away games against Kettering the following Tuesday, and Histon on the Saturday.

Luton Town, the favourites to win promotion, visit Oxford early in the campaign, on Tuesday September 8, and United's return match at Kenilworth Road is also midweek, on Tuesday February 9.

The U's are at home to local rivals Rushden & Diamonds on Boxing Day, and face the Northamptonshire side again at Nene Park on January 1.

Their final match of the season is at Eastbourne on Saturday April 24.

Not an easy start of the season! But that's a great chance to prove our hunger for promotion by beating these teams. C'mon yellows.

Totally agree Gloucester the first 5 games look very difficult.

On the bright side tho look at the last 7 fixtures of the season all fairly easy fixtures really.

There are no easy fixtures as we found out two years ago when we looked 'Certs' at Christmas and look what happened last season!
But having said that I'm quietly confident.
